Distributed solution of the Helmholtz transmission problems via relaxed local multi-trace formulation and adaptive cross approximation
Original language description
We present a parallel solver for the Helmholtz transmission problems based on the relaxed local multi-trace formulation and parallel adaptive cross approximation methods. We start off by describing the relaxed local multi-trace formulation and follow with a workload distribution scheme used to assemble all the underlying matrices in parallel via MPI. Finally, we provide results of numerical experiments related to strong scalability and the number of iterations of the GMRES iterative method. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V.
