The course introduced programming GPU-accelerated applications using CUDA. It covered the principles of heterogeneous computing, GPU hardware basics, and CUDA code design. Aimed at beginners, it explained parallelization with examples, CPU-GPU data transfers, GPU memory types, thread execution, and key parallel computing patterns. Using the Karolina supercomputer, participants also learned to write single and multi-GPU applications.
