The High-Performance Computing (HPC) Visualisation course focused on advanced tools and techniques for managing and analysing large datasets generated by simulations and observational surveys in astrophysics and cosmology. It addressed challenges related to scalability, hardware and software compatibility, and resource optimisation on diverse HPC platforms. The course explored distributed visualisation in heterogeneous architectures, parallel cinematic volume rendering, in-situ visualisation, and visualisation methods supporting machine learning–assisted analysis. Although centred on astrophysics and cosmology, the presented approaches were applicable to a wide range of scientific domains working with large and complex datasets.
