RELAPSING REMITTING MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AND OLIGOCLONAL BANDS IN CSF DURING DMD THERAPY
Original language description
The finding of alkaline oligoclonal bands (OCB) in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) supports the diagnosis of mutiple sclerosis. However, there is lack of data concerning OCB during disease-modifying drugs (DMD) therapy and changes of their pattern were not reported in the literature. The aim was to assess OCB in CSF of patients with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. Our results document the ummunomodulation effect of DMD in the decreased intrathecal synthesis of IgG.

Atako-remitentní MS a oligoklonální proužky v likvoru v průběhu DMD terapie
Czech description
Cílem práce bylo stanovení alkalických oligoklonálních proužků v likvoru pacientů postižených roztroušenou sklerózou. Výsledky prokázaly imunomoduační vliv léčby na intrathekální syntézu IgG.
