Original language description

The impact of a cognitive activity (identical pictures searching) on ERPs to visual stimuli was studies in 20 female students. Two types of visual stimuli were used: control stimuli were white blank ovals on a dark background; white oval with nine almostidentical pictures of living or inanimate objects were presented as test stimuli: the subjects were to report the numbers of two identical pictures. One session consisted of 17 series separated by approx. 2 minute intervals. In each series, the same stimulus (control or test stimulus) was presented 50-times or up to the correct response of the subject. Each stimulus presentation lasted 3,5 seconds with 0,25 sec intervals between subsequent presentations. Control stimulus was presented in the first series. It was shown that in the first 600 ms after the onset of the stimulus, regardless of the stimulus type and the site of recording, ERPs consist of two negative (N160 and N340) and one positive (P220) component. V práci je popsána dynamika změn ERPs registrovaných u 20 studentek UP v průběhu jejich kognitivní aktivity - výběr dvou stejných obrázků ze skupiny sedmi podobných. Kognitivní aktivita výrazně ovlivňovala amplitudu N160 a N340 komponent ERPs.
