Original language description
Some people with early heavy traumatization in childhood could develop serious psychiatric problem also after decades after traumatization. There are some possibilities how to treat them by cognitive restructuring and emotional processing. This is a casestory with describing several key steps in cognitive restructuring and emotional processing with the 59-years old patient severely traumatized during childhood. The therapeutic effect of cognitive restructuring and emotional processing made by role playing, therapeutic letters and imaginal rescripting leads to the significant improvement of patient. It is a case story, this make difficult to generalize the results.
