Lifestyle and Health
Original language description
Lifestyle has always been considered an important factor affecting health, whether it's the lifestyle we see a systematic approach as a way of life that is a result of various social factors and conditions, or culturalist approach as the lifestyle of theindividual, which is characterized by internal cohesion of all elements of life. The aim of this chapter is to focus on lifestyle as one of the key determinants of health. The chapter consists of three parts. The first part of the surveillance method suggests socio-cultural and historical conditionality of health. The second part of the chapter discusses the modern division of health determinants, based on the Lalonde field, which clearly classifies these determinants. Conclusion of the chapter deals with health from a different perspective. Draws attention to the ever growing normative pressure on the need to be healthy, if an individual wants to succeed in the current performance of the company.
