Influence of water and high pressure environment on the vagal activity at humans
Original language description
The fact that hyperbaric environment (water) induces vagal depended bradycardia is quite well known in the literature. Less is known the difference among change of normobaric dry, normobaric wet (surface of water) and hyperbaric wet ("scuba diving") environment in the context of autonomic nervous system (ANS) activity. The main aim of this study was to investigate, the level of ANS activity at changes of surround environment and ambient pressure.
