Objective: To establishtheeffectivenessofsurgerycompared to conservatory management foradultswithhalluxvalgus. This review willincludeadults (18 yearsorolder) withhalluxvalgus deformity, excludingadultswithneurologicalproblemscausingfootdeformitiese.g. cerebralpalsy, neuropathy, stroke, MultipleSclerosis. Typesofintervention The review willincludeany type ofhalluxvalgussurgerycompared to no surgery, conservativetreatment (such as physicaltherapy, kinesiotaping, orthosis, etc.) and comparisonamongdifferenttypesofhalluxvalgussurgerieswillalsobeincluded. Typesofoutcomes Theprimaryoutcome: - gaitmeasures: assessed by anyvalidatedassessmenttool (such as biomechanicalmovementanalysis, etc.).
