  • Original language description

    The progress in the management of patients with solid tumors has been associated not only with the introduction of new drugs or other therapeutic methods, but also with the advences of biomarkers. The utilization of dozens of different biomarkers is a companion of the patient and the physician on the path from the diagnosis through therapy that includes surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy or targeted therapy and then on throughout the lifelong follow-up.
