The aim of the workshop was to familiarize participants with the organization of care for pregnant woman and woman in labor in Sweden. The speaker was Zuzana Kolkova, M. D., Ph. d. and a midwife Karin Salomon of Lund in Sweden. The Workshop was aimed at training midwives, legislation associated with labor assists and competencies of midwives in Sweden. They were also lectured topics dealing with perinatology data in Sweden, the cooperation of the doctor and midwife and prenatal care in the physiological, risk and pathological pregnancy.
