The paper wants to be a contribution to the analysis of the wordform (in "inflectional languages"). It postulates two premises: a) the inner structure of each wordform is the result of two functions/roles a word has in a language, b) a specific linear projection of double binary analysis of the wordform to immediate constituents is the genuine "backbone" of morphology. It is then highly tempting to say that there are two morphologies, i. e. derivational morphology dealing with the onomasiological function of the word and studying the structure of the word as a result of wordformational processes, and inflectional morphology which takes into account the function of a wordform in the utterance and, in view of this, it aims at grasping the grammatical/morphological structure of the word.
