This publication is about life and work of Emil Dlouhý-Pokorný, who was a priest, thinker and teacher on philosophical faculties of Czech and Germen University. Part of the publication is about influence of Rerum novarum on his life, his membership in workers societies. Last part of this publication deals with political and cultural influnece of Emil Dlouhý-Pokorný. After year 1920 he became one of the founders of Czechoslovak Church.
