    The paper focuses on three important commentators from Orléans who produced together over 40% of all commentaries from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries on Ovid. An overview is given of the schools in Orléans, as well as of the personalities of the commentators. Some examples of their commentaries and their interconnection are showed.
