Reflections on the main schools of the world psychology in the Czech inter-war psychology
Original language description
The author deals with the reasons for the different level of acceptance of the three important psychological perspectives (Gestalt psychology, behaviorism, and psychoanalysis) in the Czech inter-war psychology. Gestaltism was probably the most accepted approach. The acceptance of behaviorism and psychoanalysis was rather negative or indifferent. Czech psychologists probably perceived these schools of thinking as predominantly foreign or irrational.
