Using linguistic corpora in teaching Czech genitives after quantifiers to English native speakers
Original language description
The article presents results of a BNC based study of Czech indefinite quantifiers and the distribution of singular and plural forms of nouns they combine with. The aim is to show that a large corpus of Czech is often the only source English native speakers may resort to if they are to use genitives after these quantifiers idiomatically.
