The Opera Šárka by Zdeněk Fibich

Original language description

The origin of the opera Šárka was influenced by circumstances which at the first view did not assure a creation of eternal piece of art. Zdeněk Fibich left his family, and he also had to admit limited determination of National Theatre´s competition. Nevertheless Fibich´s Šárka become one of the most elaborated work of his author from 1900s.
