On 4 - 6 September 2010 Department of Political Science at the University of SS. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava hosted the first international workshop "Communication and marketing in social disciplines". The workshop was organized by the Deparment of Political Science with cooperation of Slovak Political Institute Košice and Polish Communication Association in Wroclaw. The workshop became the first attempt to bring together young students of political science, journalism, social science and researchers,doctoral students,practitioners from Central European countries, namely Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland.The participants got a unique opportunity to be a part of this event and also the researchers, practitioners and doctoral students to present their current research and discuss it with their colleagues and students. Apart from that, the workshop became a meeting ground for new cooperation activities, forge new academic contacts and open ways for research and projects.
