Objective: The aim of our study was to assess the personality characteristics in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) with and without impulse control disorders (ICD). Method: The personality traits were analyzed using the MMPI-2. The comparison amonggroups was done in the domains with expected high sensitivity to apparent addictive behavior. The mean disease duration and the mean levodopa dose were recorded in the PD groups. The study included 46 patients with PD and 56 people in a control group. ICD were identified in 13 patients.
