REST works with sensory and social deprivation and can be translated as a technique of limited external stimulation or therapy limited by external stimulation. The aim of this paper is to acquaint the listeners with this innovative and effective method that is almost unknown in our country. Its effects are manifested in all aspects of bio-psycho-socio-spiritual model of personality and were to be further reported. In addition to adjusting REST listeners will be introduced to the preliminary results of research REST, which is realizes by the departmen of psychology in Palacky University Olomouc, in collaboration with Beskydské rehabilitační centrumr in Celadna (BRC).
