Thiscontribution deals about education of the elderly in the Czech Republic at the Czech Universities. Its describe the beginning of the education of the elderly in the Czech Republic. First University of the Third Age (U3A) was founded in Olomouc at Palacky University in the 1986. The second U3A was founded in Prague at Charles University in the 1987. Both of them were interested in medicine. Now, in the Czech Republic works university of the third age at 21 universities.
