Idealogical Patterns in the Occupation Trilogy by Otakar Vávra Days of Betrayal, Sokolovo, The Liberation of Prague (1973 - 1975) on the Background of Czech Historical Film in the 1970's
Original language description
The aim of this text is to introduce the ideological patterns that were included by Vávra into the occupation trilogy and draw attention to their similarity to the patterns he used in the Hussite trilogy Jan Hus, Jan Žižka, Against All [Proti všem] and in his much-praised film The Witch Hunt [Kladivo na čarodějnice]. The ideological patterns of the "normalization" period are derived from the text The Learning from the Critical Development [Poučení z krizového vývoje] and the artistic creation further changed them into the dramatic forms.
