Workshop introduces us to role theory and method and narrative approach via Hero's Journey. We will learn about drama therapeutic approaches to disabilities. This will include using drama therapy to examine current disability theory/critical theory/post-modern thoery as well as an introduction to Developmental Transformations -DvT (see Johnson). Workshop takes students through a primer and embodied introduction to DvT and then compare it with Greenspan's Floortime Model which is used extensively here inthe US with children on the autism spectrum. Using the video of DvT in action with a group of teens with Developmental Disabilities/Autism.
