    This article examines how memories in contemporary Czech society influence the oral narratives of the descendants of Bohemian nobility. Particularly, the paper explores the reasons for the glorification of the interviewee's fathers and illustrates how afamily's memory of nobility remains particularly stable, transcending generations.
