The present state of knowledge of the Baden culture in Moravia is not satisfactory. We have neither a current list of localities, nor an actual map of settlement distribution characterised by fortified hilltop settlements and flatland settlements in particular. the inventory of finds is very fragmentarily and incompletely published. Apart from the Central Moravian hillforts and barrow fields, only the settlement at Hlinsko was aecavated and published.
