This software is used to train learners' production of melodic aspects of foreign speech, i.e. the production of lexical tones in tonal languages, or melodic contours in intonation phrases. Current research on foreign-accentedness emphasizes the necessity of taking suprasegmental, prosodic features of speech into consideration. On each trial it presents a model recording of native speech displaying the pitch track annotated with the text of the utterance split in syllables, then it records the user's imitation of the utterance and draws its pitch track, allowing the user to play back both recordings as well as their resynthesized delexicalized 'hummed' versions. The software is written in the scripting language of the program Praat (www.praat.org).

Je využíván při výuce fonetiky angličtiny na Univerzitě Palackého. Dopady jeho aplikace jsou zároveň předmětem výzkumu, jehož výsledky budou publikovány.
