Original language description

Author analyses in the article the important early Renaissance architectural sculptures in Lower Austria from different points of view. The article is focused on stylistical analysis of chosen sculpture, influence of the clients on the stylistical character of artworks. On the basis of concrete compare with Italian and especially northern Italian architectural sculptures author distinguishes the architectural sculptures in Lower Austria executed by domestic (Central European) stonemasons and architectural sculptures made by Italian stonemasons. In the end of article author analyses the change of methodological approach to the phenomenon of Early Renaissance in architectural sculpture in Lower Austria.
