Original language description
The study deals with the sources of the Mass compositions of Viennese composer Antonio Caldara in Moravian music collections, concentrated in the Department of Music History of the Moravian Museum in Brno. It is devoted especially to unique sources that have no concordance in other European music libraries. In the center of attention there are three separate Mass movements (Kyrie, Gloria) from the church of St. Jacob in Brno. Based on criticism of sources and musical analysis, Caldara's authorship is verified.
