Original language description
Social entrepreneurship is one of trends in current economy. These business activities include, on the one hand, the pursuit of profit and, on the other, fulfilling a certain public interest. The aim of this contribution is to introduce the concept of social entrepreneurship, to give its definition in economic theory and to outline the current state of social business in the Czech Republic. Applied research metods will include data collection and analysis. Conclusions will be provided by the own author’s opinion regarding trends of social entrepreneurship and another research possibilities in this area.
