Im Jahr 2015 fuhr ein Expeditionsteam des Mauritianums in den Hohen Altai, um hier zu Flora und Fauna des Altais zu sammeln. Dabei begleitete ich die Gruppe als Ethnologe und führte in den Camps und anliegenden Dörfern Explorationen durch. Ich verschaffte mir so einen Überblick über die Situation der Bewohner des Hohen Altajs, ihre ökonomischen Strategien und ihren Alltag in den Dörfern und auf den Weiden.
