The article summarizes and compares the available German and Czech means of gender-fair language and their productivity. In the second part, the author discusses the potential of individual means for labelling non-heteronormative persons and focuses mainly on the possibility of implementing means to make these persons visible in the form of an asterisk or underscore in Czech, taking into account the richness of Czech flexion.
