Educational and therapeutic approaches as responses to traffic offences
Original language description
This report aims to shed some light on these aspects and, on the basis of theoretical principles and empirical studies, to : - identify the different traffic offender profiles - and examine their characteristics ; - study the different operating principles of educational and/or therapeutic interventions and examine their relevance to different offender profiles; - draw up an inventory of best practices in the field of educational and/or therapeutic measures in order to offer specific training adapted to each type of profile. Although this approach potentially applies to all interventions aimed at offenders on the road, this report will focus more particularly on applications that are little or not specified in the Belgian legal framework.
