Original language description
The chapter devotes to the construction activities of the piarists in Lipník with emphasis on 17th century, particularly in the period of Karl von Lichtenstein-Castelcorno’s episcopate. Based on the research of the archive sources we managed to prove that the bish¬op took on the role of a benefactor in the reconstruction of the Lipník monastery complex from the very beginning of his episcopate.
