The purpose of this course is to critically examine recent research and conceptual work on adolescents and adolescent development. The course is not an overview course per se as a single semester would not allow adequate treatment of all relevant areas of scholarship that has bearing on adolescents and adolescent development. Thus, the course will not cover all topics relevant to the study of adolescence. The course is designed to familiarize you with some key pieces of scholarship on adolescent development using an interdisciplinary framework. The course was divided into 6 meetings of 90 minutes.
