The workshop focuses on public-speaking, targeting both the scientific communities (e.g., conferences) and the general public (e.g., communicating their research to the media). The training includes theatre exercises in speaking with emotion and strength, storytelling exercises on how to develop the hook in a presentation, as well as using our bodies to aid verbal communication. The focus on both structure and delivery provides our researchers a useful tool to package our research outputs in a more engaging manner.
