Instruments of Spatial Planning in the Czech Republic and in Austria
Original language description
The Author concentrates in her article on Spatial Planning as one of the major instruments of the territorial development. Spatiaol in the Czech republic is regulated in the Building Act, i.e. Act No. 183/2006 Coll., on Spatial Planning and Building Code, which entered into force on January 1, 2007. The adoption of the new Building Code is also considered as one of the major steps of the public administration reforms in the Czech republic because the former Building Code was adopted 30 years ago in 1976. The Author focuses in her article on the instruments of planning and compares the Czech system with the Austrian system of the spatial planning instruments.
