Development of administrative punishment within Czech lands
Original language description
The aim of this paper is a brief description of the administrative punishment in the Czech lands since the reign of Joseph the II. until now. The article is divided into chapters by major phases of modern history of Czech lands. Introduction of a paper is followed by the second chapter, that deals with the development of administrative punishment in the Austrian Empire until 1918, the third chapter deals with the development of administrative punishment in the Czechoslovak Republic between the years 1918 to 1938, the fourth chapter is devoted to post-war development and to period of communist regime from 1948 to 1990 and the conclusion of the article focuses a brief description of current legislation and its comparison with the previous legal regulation. The author focuses particularly on legal rules, that were the basis for legislation in this and within them on basic legal institutions and procedural rules.
