Our chapter in the first edition of Global Review of Constitutional Law ever covers developments in constitutional law which took place in 2016. In the first part of our chapter we described the fundamentals of our constitutional systém. We followed-up with short analysis of one of the major constitutional controversies in our country concerning the right to bear arms. Last but not least, we discussed four major case in the section on case-law of the Czech Constitutional Court.
