Original language description
This article describes the project aimed at improving professional and legal language knowledge of judges and prosecutors and at contributing to the consistent and effective implementation of EU law in 5 EU Member States. Teaching legal language to judges and prosecutors poses challenges unknown to teachers of general language or even to teachers teaching foreign language to other legal practitioners. The article may help legal language teachers to better identify sources and tools available for legal language training of the judiciary.
