Original language description
The monograph deals with the development of administrative proceedings and its legal regulation in the countries of the former Austro-Hungarian monarchy. This chapter examines this issue in the Czech Republic. The introduction is devoted to the history and development of the legal regulation of administrative proceedings. Furthermore, the current legislation is characterized and its basic features are analyzed. The importance of the basis of the principles of activity of administrative bodies is pointed out. Attention is also paid to judicial control in relation to procedures under the Administrative Procedure Code. The author also deals with the influence of the Austrian codification idea in relation to the Czech legislation, as well as the issue of codification or decodification. The conclusion is devoted to considerations de lege ferenda.
