At the end of July 2023, an extensive amendment of the Czech Competition Act entered into force. It brought about not only the long overdue implementation of the ECN+ Directive, but also other significant changes to Czech competition law, including the investigatory powers of the Czech Competition Authority and its leniency programme and settlement procedure.
