Original language description
The present paper deals with the issue of preventive privacy protection of victims of ifnraction in the context of Directive 2012/29/EU. In accordance with the main research question whether the legal regulation of preventive privacy protection for victims of infractions in the Czech Republic stands up in the light of the Directive, the author analyses the application problems of the Directive to the matter of infraction proceedings. The paper first evaluates the approach of the legislator in the Czech Republic to the preventive privacy protection of victims of infractions and the current legislation and then the author focuses on the applicability of his recommended approaches to victims of infractions in the context of ECHR case law for the entire EU area. The theoretical part is then complemented by two examples from the author's practice.
