The concept of food sovereignty might be seen as a political or legal principle. As a legal principle it interrelates with the concept of foreign direct investment. The present paper first studies separately both concepts – food sovereignty and foreign direct investment. Then it develops three areas of solution on international law level which might be used by States in order to implement food sovereignty.
