  • Original language description

The article investigates the pericope Lk 19:1-10 on the meeting of the chief-collector Zacchaeus with Jesus. On account of the narrative analysis, the author comes to the conclusion that Zacchaeus is depicted as an example of how a meeting with Jesus cantransform the life of even someone whose conduct has not been impeccable. Especially the concluding verse (19:10) characterizes the activity of Jesus as seeking and saving sinful people.
