The study investigates the significance of the disciples of Jesus in the concluding chapter of the Gospel of John. The aim of this paper is to point out the role and importance of the disciples mentioned in John 21 with reference to the previous scenes in the Gospel of John where these disciples appear. It firstly shortly presents the setting of the scene of the disciples in John 21. And consequently, it focuses attention on the identity and the role of the disciples in John with respect to their presence and function in the narrative of the Fourth Gospel.
