The workshop is focused on crossing cultural barriers between religiously based cultures and societies in general and between Christianity and Islam in particular. The workshop consists of four themes that are set up from general to particular issues: Plurality within the world of Islam and ecumenical tendencies on a practical level. Muslims and others: relationship of Muslim believers toward religions and contemporary secular societies. Methods and possibilities of cooperation with world of Islam on the field of humanitarian aid and development assistance. Islam in Italy: integration and migration crisis in contemporary Italian society.
