Original language description
The study provides an account of Augustine’s Ep. 6 and 7, in which Nebridius asks his friend philosophical questions inspired by Neo-Platonism. Augustine’s answer reflects both his gradual departure from the Neo-Platonic conception of memory and fantasy, and his treatment of the two phenomena as not only an aid to the study of wisdom but also its endangerment.
