Response of Cucurbita pepo and Cucurbita maxima genotypes to Czech isolate of zucchini yellow mosaic virus

Original language description

A set of 32 Cucurbita pepo and of 18 Cucurbita maxima genotypes was evaluated for resistance to the zucchini yellow mosaic virus. The local isolate of ZYMV originating from Cucumis sativus field culture in South Moravia was used for study. Plants were scored for systemic symptoms on true leaves and the presence of virus in each accession was detected serologically (ELISA).
