Original language description
The representatives of the genus Microtrichalus Pic, 1921 from Sumatra are revised, Microtrichalus fuliginosus (Bourgeois, 1883), M. rouyeri (Pic, 1921), and M. testaceicollis (Pic, 1927) are combined with rubricollis sp. n. is described. Trichalus laticornis Pic, 1927, T. javanus Pic, 1927, T. undulatithorax Pic, 1927, T. nothus Kleine, 1933a, and T. barbieri Pic, 1949 are synonymized to Microtrichalus communis (Waterhouse, 1879); Trichalus rianganus Pic, 1921 to Microtrichalus fuliginosus (Bourgeois,1883).
