Realistic description of the self-reconstruction effect
Original language description
The realistic description of the periodical self-reconstruction of wavefield realized by the decomposition of the spatial spectrum into the base of pseudonondiffracting beams is presented. The results are compared to the ideal self-reconstruction effectobtained due to the superposition of the nondiffracting beams. As examples the beam self-guiding effect, the imaging of the point source and the two-point imaging are examined. The fidelity of the self-reconstruction is examined using the proposed fidelity criterion. An influence of the detuning of the radial spatial frequencies is also discussed.
